Reading Wednesday’s model coffee
Each month we do coffee and conversation over a community development reading. This month I’ chosen a model rather than a long reading. It’s one of my favourite flow charts for group work. It is called the “The Groan Zone” but is far from being dull.
The model helps leaders to think about how we stir people to face change and then how to gain agreement on landing in a new place.
You can find a pdf from the text here “Facilitators Guide to Participatory Decision Making”
Join me for a coffee conversation about how this model helps us to deepen important conversations within the church and community members.
Our monthly reading group meets on 4th Wed afternoons.
Venue: Dear Daisy Cafe 66 Leah St Forestville 2-4pm.
No need to RSVP
Peter
PS I’ve found this reflection on the same diagram from the SA Strategic Plan page of the SA government.

As we will be doing a number of sessions on this diagram I thought I’d list it now but I’ll schedule this into our readings in Oct or Nov.
